Talent is currently running rampant through the light heavyweight division in the UFC while Forrest Griffin’s latest victory may have foreshadowed a sign of what’s to come. With so many talented fighters in the division, it is very likely that the championship belt could change hands quite a bit in the future.
However, that is not necessarily a bad thing at all. Adversely, it might actually add to the allure of the light heavyweight division. Chuck Liddell and Rashad Evans are both eying the title while Quinton Jackson is also seeking another chance to grab the gold.
Wanderlei Silva can never be counted out and Anderson Silva may even be looking to make a run in the division some time in the future. Whoever winds up stepping into the octagon vying for the light heavyweight title, it should be an extremely entertaining bout.
