In recent weeks, the WEC hasn’t made too much noise in the world of mma. However, the time for its next event is rapidly approaching. The countdown has also begun for Quinton Jackson as he prepares to face a new opponent while Forrest Griffin continues to be everybody’s new favorite light heavyweight. It’s time to get going with the Thursday Crunch.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s next fight will be August 15th as reported by The Press Telegram. However, that fight will come in the courtroom. His hearing will take place at the Harbor Justice Center in Laguna Niguel.

It’s official. Urijah Faber will step back inside the cage and defend his Featherweight title against Mike Brown on September 10th at WEC 36 according to mmajunkie.com
