Miguel Torres’ next title defense
WEC Bantamweight champion Miguel Torres gave spectators their money’s worth during his last TKO victory over Yoshiro Maeda. Now, Torres will be sufficed to wait a few months before he steps back into the cage. Although The WEC was considering adding Torres as part of its September card, it looks like the champion will probably wait until December to fight again.
A new house, the opening of a new gym and teaching seminars have filled up Torres’ daily itinerary as of late. At 34-1, Torres hasn’t lost in his last 15 fights. It has been speculated that a Torres vs Urijah Faber extravaganza could take place some time in the future. But for now, that simply remains speculation.
It looks as though Damacio Page, Will Ribiero and Manny Tapia are some of the fighters rumored to be Torres’ next opponent, or should we say victim. Fiveouncesofpain.com has more on one of the best fighters in the game.
