Dream 5 adds three more bouts

July 10th, 2008

Nick Diaz was originally set to fight as part of the Dream 5 fight card which will take place on July 21 on Japanese soil. Since then, the organization has been scrambling to complete it’s lineup. Dream has also announced that Mark Hunt will be part of the event even though he has not had a professional fight in more than eighteen months.

Much of the card will feature Japanese fighters including Kuniyoshi Hironaka who will try to issue Motoki Miyazawa his first defeat in a welterweight match-up. Hironaka has four UFC fights on his resume, although three of them were losses. His final defeat in the octagon came courtesy of Jonathan Goulet who acored a TKO midway through the second round.

Losing Diaz unquestionably hurt Dream 5, however it is up to these other fighters to help its cause. Fiveouncesofpain.com has the full story along with the up to date fight card.
