No more excuses for Kyle Bradley
Excuse time is over for lightweight Kyle Bradley. After lasting just 33 seconds in his UFC debut, Bradley will get another chance to make a name for himself in the octagon. However, he’ll get no second chance for excuses when he takes on Joe Lauzon at UFC Fight Night 15 in September.
Bradley suffered a TKO in his debut fight at the hands of Chris Lytle back in February at UFC 81. Following that fight came a wave of excuses. First, Bradley argued that he wasn’t fighting in his true weight class. Then, he revealed that he came into the fight with a knee injury that he managed to conceal. Finally, Bradley contended his mindset was to just come in and put on a good show, which may not have been the best approach.
All those excuses translated into nothing more than a quick loss. Now, Bradley has a chance for redemption, although excuses will not do a second time around. If Bradley comes out and fails to perform again, there’s a good chance he’ll be excused from the UFC altogether. Mmajunkie.com has more on Bradley and his excuses.
