Did Forrest Griffin really do that much of a number of Quinotn “Rampage” Jackson? Perhaps Jackson’s beatdown left him with a ringing in his ears that caused him not to hear police sirens. And just maybe the constant blows to the head affected his vision to the point where he can no longer see flashing lights from a police car. For whatever reason, Jackson didn’t deem it necessary to pull over when authorities began to tail his three-wheeled pickup truck yesterday afternoon.

More details continue to emerge about Jackson’s flight from the Costa Mesa Police. Apparently, Jackson drove over a raised center portion of the roadway and then hopped a curb, causing pedestrians to scamper for their very lives. From there, Jackson went on to run a few red lights as the chase wore on.

He finally threw in the towel when he got to Newport Beach and his truck couldn’t go much farther. Authorities apprehended a then complaint Jackson and it was off to the clink for Rampage. Rearnaked blogspot has the latest rundown of events involving the former UFC light heavyweight champion.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was arrested yesterday in Costa Mesa, California after he allegedly hit a couple of parked cars with his 2008 Ford F-350 turbo diesel truck and then fled the scene. Jackson was spotted by police a few minutes later while talking on his cell phone and driving on a flat tire. When police attempted to pull him over, Jackson’s rampage continued.

A five minute chase ensued and Jackson was finally apprehended. Jackson was forced to lie face down in the street while officers had their guns drawn. That image was captured by TMZ.com. Jackson was then taken into custody where he was being held was being held on $25,000 bail stemming from charges that included hit-and-run driving, felony evading and reckless driving.
