Nate Marquardt Loses Fight Then Discovers Hotel Room Robbed
It wasn’t a very fun weekend for Nate Marquardt at UFC 85 in London. First, he loses a fight he should have won against Thales Leites due to being penalized for strikes to the back of the head which ultimately cost him the fight… and then he gets back to his hotel room only to discover the room have been broken into.
The good folks over at MMAWeekly give us this:
“On a side note, our room was robbed last night and my computer, iPod, passport and several other items were stolen. That means we got robbed two days in a row here in London! HA :)”
Good grief, when it rains it pours. You walk out of a disappointing loss for a fight you’ve trained months for and traveld across the ocean to participate in… a loss he didn’t feel he deserved… and he’s thinking to himself “how can this night get any worse? At least I can go back to my hotel an listen to my iPod”. D’Oh!
