Griffin and Jackson comment on fight

Just as they did throughout the Ultimate Fighter series, both Forrest Griffin and Quinton Jackson handled themselves with class during their post-fight commentary. Jackson went on to explain how he did not underestimate Griffin and that he thought he had done enough to topple the challenger. But Griffin just wouldn’t budge.

Griffin looked to take the worse beating of the two with a battered left eye while Jackson did not appear to take that much of a pounding at all. Nevertheless, Griffin is now wearing the UFC light heavyweight championship belt and Jackson is the one talking about a rematch. Rampage welcomes the idea but Griffin now may be the one to dictate who his next opponent will be.

Griffin went on to say “I’m not a feared guy, but I’m going to fight you for 25 minutes, whoever you are, anybody at 205, I’m not going to break, I’m not going to quit.” MMA Weekly has more post fight commentary from both Griffin and Jackson.
