Anderson Silva doing damage
July 12th, 2008 by Bobby DerenOne week from today, Anderson Silva will step back into the octagon, but this time fighting as a light heavyweight. Silva has been mowing through the middleweight division and hasn’t lost in his last seven fights. Two of those victories came over Rich Franklin, the second of which actually went into the second round. We take a look back at that second victory over Franklin picked up in the first round.
James “Sandman” Irvin should take a close look at this tape as Franklin bowed down to Silva for a second straight time. Judging how hard Silva hits, the novelty of moving up a weight class may now just be a novelty.
